I first found an interest in investing after making my very first investment in 1995. But I didn’t dive into investing with complete confidence; there was a great deal of uncertainty and anxiety involved in this new venture. I decided the best way to overcome those feelings was to educate myself, form a plan, and maintain discipline. This approach worked well for me, and it’s one that I knew could benefit others. That’s why I continue to follow this approach with all of my clients at KFA Financial: educating, planning, and maintaining discipline to reach their own financial goals.
I attended the University of North Texas, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Over a distinguished 29-year military career, I rose through the ranks as an Infantry Officer and was guided by a deep sense of duty, honor, and service to others. That same deep-rooted sense of service continues to guide my work today.
I am committed to giving back, whether I’m supporting my community, championing my fellow veterans, or helping my clients work towards their financial goals. I find no greater sense of fulfillment than what I find from lifting others up and making a lasting difference whenever and wherever I can.
I am a proud Texas native, and I live in Sanger, Texas, with my wife and family. I serve on the Board of Directors for both the Sanger Education Foundation and Cowtown Warriors.
